George Carlin on Education

California Institute of TechnologyImage via WikipediaGeorge Carlin, my favorite comedian recently passed away. He spoke on many topics and he had lot of insight on how things actually work. He was brutal in the way he trashed many cherished ideals.

Here in this video he talks about education. His analysis of why education will not be fixed is very interesting. He talks about politician how they come up with all the solutions that do not work.

His idea that we are producing students who are pliable and good workers and who will lack critical thinking abilities and will follow the authorities as observed in the Stanley Milgram's experiment on obedience.
